At Wairau Hills we produce a range of premium Marlborough varieties that showcase the unique terroir characters and climatic conditions we are fortunate enough to have in our region. We source only high using quality fruit from specially selected and managed vineyards and use traditional winemaking to capture the essence of Marlborough's vibrant yet elegant wines. Under the guidance of our internationally renownd winemaker, Alan McCorkindale, we produce a full range of wines including Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer and Pinot Noir.
As well producing our attractive white linin label we also produce small parcels of wine under our black Ariki label. Ariki means Chief or Tribal Leader in Maori
The Ariki wines are only made in years were the winemaking team identify a specific batch of wine that shows outstanding varietal character.
